Looks like there is a Merck Vaccine Recall due to equipment contamination. The two Merck Vaccine recalls are PEDVAXHIB and COMVAX. This is not the first Merck Vaccine recall, and the fact that the company cannot guarantee that these products are sterile is scary. Well, probably not as bad as you would think though. You see its just the fact that Merck can’t guarantee that they are sterile, thats the whole issue.

Here’s what the VP had to say. “We are taking this action because we are committed to ensuring the quality of our vaccines.” Physicians have been advised not to administer the drug and instead get rid of it. Merck is also working with the FDA to make everyone known of the issue and is trying to rectify the vaccine recall. This is just one of those things that happens every now and then. Better to be safe than sorry.
